Bookmark/share a postI learned today that one of my newer essays, “Waiting for the Hurricane,” will be published in the next issue of Platte Valley Review, the online literary journal of the University of Nebraska – Kearney. This journal’s last issue was packed with talented writers, including one of my mentors, Joy Castro — so I feel especially honored.
The news arrived a day before my birthday, so it gave me a little extra lift. I’ll let you know when the essay is posted.
