I’ve just returned from a 12-day trip to England, which included a side trip across the channel and through a small part of France to Brugges, Belgium. It was a wonderful trip that I hope will give me new fodder for an essay. For now, I’m taking a day or two to rest, and then it will be back to work, back to writing, and on to summer.
