It’s been a difficult 10 days since the loss of my father, but as life would have it, time moves forward and so must we. It’s ironic, perhaps, that on the heels of the saddest event of my life comes one of its greatest joys — the publication of my first book. I got word yesterday that the first box of copies have arrived at the publisher’s office. Soon my author’s copies will show up at my door — and in two weeks the book will finally be available to readers.
