The semester ended in early May, but it feels as if I’ve been running ever since. I’ve spent the past couple of weeks developing two new courses for the fall: Intro to Creative Writing, which I’m taking on after the retirement of a popular Humanities professor at Lasell, and a newly designed hybrid version of the Creative Nonfiction Writing Workshop (with one class session in person, and the other designed as an online module).
In the meantime, I’ve been slowly (for about one hour a day on most mornings) working on my new fiction novel and preparing for various trips and activities this summer.
Breathe, breathe, breathe…at some point life will slow down.
