I’m so pleased to announce that a feature story in The Herald covers my new children’s book collaboration with artist Anya Lauchlan, Toys at Night. The story touches on the Scottish background of the publisher, who grew up in a gritty Glasgow neighborhood next to future popstar Lulu, as well as the fascinating story of Anya’s childhood in the Soviet Union and Ukraine, and her escape. Also mentioned is my own background as the child of a Holocaust survivor and our mutual mission to help children around the world with this book (which is a charitable endeavor).
