As many of you know, I am a life-long animal and wildlife advocate. In fact, I wrote my children’s books to raise awareness about stray and feral cats, and I donate a portion of the proceeds from those books to non-profit animal rescue organizations.
That passion, as well as the difficult news coming daily from Ukraine, inspired my little piece.
